A question about : Whats your thoughts? Broker got back
Hi all. The broker finally got back to me last week. I originally had a post asking if statutory reports are enough for a broker to work her magic. Answer is like you all said ...no.
Now the reason I asked this was because there was no trace of my PDLs I had back in 2012.
For the purpose of new readers...I have a CCJ (settled june 2010..Ј489) due to drop of in July. 4 late payments in late 2009. And 22 PDLs between June 2010 and May 2012. All payed. All else is up to date. And has been since June 2010 minus the PDLs which are turning out to be adverse.
The women said that she know needs my full report, and that the PDLs were the most obstructive(even more so than the CCJ). She said she has had a look and there is one lender that will do a 5% mortgage but my PDLs eliminate them.
I did tell her I had a 10% deposit?? Nevermind.
I have read that some people have been obtaining mortgages with PDLs and some in slighty worse and more recent cases than me.
She also insist on my CREDIT SCORE?? Along with my report.
Though the score was worthless?
I originally set out to get a house this Sep/Oct. After CCJ had went to hell...finally. I set the ball rolling with a Broker to find out my chances. Going of what was said last week of her...I have hardly any chance? Think I am just going to wait another
year and get a 20% deposit by then. But say I do and the late payments also vanish(fall off)...surely PDLs from 3-4 year ago can't stop me. Feeling deflated!!
